We are getting married in the village of Naramata, BC, which is situated on picturesque Okanagan Lake. Naramata is only 20 km from the closest airport in Penticton (YYF). This airport is serviced by four flights daily to Vancouver though Air Canada Jazz, with flights to Calgary set to to begin through West Jet Encore ‘soon’.
For those up for a road trip, the drive to Naramata is about:
- 90 minutes from Kelowna
- 5 hours from Vancouver
- 8 hours from Calgary
- 10 hours from Edmonton
- 13 hours from Ft. St John
- 40 hours from Toronto
If you are flying to our wedding rental cars are available at the airport; however, once you arrive at Naramata you won’t need a vehicle so please contact us and we will try to coordinate a ride for you.
Accommodations
Our guests will have full access to the Sandy Beach Lodge Resort for the weekend. We are planning an entire weekend of activities at the Lodge so we really hope you join us there.
Your choice of accommodations at the Sandy Beach Lodge are:
- Private cabins: 2 bedroom plus sofa bed, 1 bathroom, kitchen, deck (sleeps up to six)
- Bed and breakfast lodge rooms: queen or two twin beds, private bathroom, breakfast in lodge daily
